We have been carefully watching the development and media surrounding the spread of the Covid-19 virus. To protect our landlords, tenants, contractors, staff and othe stakeholder we would like to make the following statement.
1) All non-urgent property visits (inspections) will now be postponed until further notice. If you have a property visit booked or due, please await further correspondence with regards to the date of re-booking. We have taken this decision to protect both our Property Managers and our tenants and their families.
2) All face to face viewings have been cancelled.
3) Video/Whatsapp viewings are available if required.
4) Check-in and Check-out appointments will done remotely in complying with the government guidance on social distancing
5) Emergency maintenance will continue as normal. Should the situation deteriorate, this will be re-evaluated. Occupiers will be asked if they are experiencing any of the scenarios in point 2 prior to the visit. All contractors have been provided with advice with regards to mitigating the spread of Covid-19 and risk assessments will be carried out prior to releasing keys for each job. Please make us aware as soon as possible if any occupiers are in a “High Risk” group as per point 2. Please alow all contractors to wash their hands when they attend your property and when they leave.
6) All Non-emergency maintenance has been suspended.
7) The Francis Stuart Office is now closed until further notice. This action has not been taking lighly but we have decided it’s unfair on both our team, our tenants and the country to put them at any risk if not absolutely necessary.
8) Team members are now working from Home.
9) Should any of our occupiers have a problem making their rental payments as you have been affected by Covid-19, we request you contact us as soon as possible to discuss options moving forward. We can supply tenants with details of the Government help which has been made available please contact us via email rooms@francis-stuart.co.uk.
10) Considering points 7, we would ask that communication is made via email at rooms@francis-stuart.co.uk until the office can be re-opened. This way we get back to you as fast as a team member is available.
11) The safety and health of both our team and those we meet is paramount therefore we will do all we can as a business to ensure our actions minimise the impact of Covid-19 on all our clients.
