Ben joined the Francis Stuart team in September 2024 as a Senior HMO Portfolio Manager, bringing with him a strong foundation in HMO compliance from nearly two years in the student sector. In that short time, he developed an impressive depth of knowledge, understanding the complexities of property management and regulatory requirements in the HMO world. Ben’s career journey has been anything but ordinary, spanning from car sales to firefighting—yet one thing has remained constant: his love for a challenge! He thrives in dynamic environments and is always eager to push himself beyond his comfort zone.
Affectionately known as one of the “HMO Girlies,” Ben has seamlessly integrated into the team, combining expertise with confidence. He takes pride in fostering strong relationships and ensuring compliance is met with efficiency and professionalism, and his unwavering dedication to excellence makes him a true embodiment of our core values: knowledge, balance, and compliance.
Beyond work, Ben is a firm believer in balance and experiences and enjoys unwinding by watching rugby, exploring the great outdoors, or travelling further afield and exploring another country. Whether it’s a countryside walk or an adventurous hike, he loves spending quality time with his wife and their two beloved dogs, Toby and Willow. His passion for adventure, both in and out of work, is what makes him such a dynamic and valuable part of our team.
